LBMA announcement on 13 January 2026, extract below:

The silver refinery of Planta Recuperadora de Metales SpA. (PRM) has been added to LBMA’s Good Delivery List for silver with effect from 13 January 2026.

PRM has satisfied LBMA as to its ownership, history, production capability, and financial standing. It has also passed LBMA’s exhaustive testing procedures, under which its silver bars were examined and assayed by independent referees, and its own assaying capabilities were tested.

PRM was formed as a joint venture between LS MnM and CODELCO in 2011. In December 2012, PRM was established as ‘Planta Recuperadora De Metales SpA.’ in Mejillones, Antofagasta, Chile. The company with the purpose of adding value to the intermediate products generated in the copper refining process, PRM is committed to continuous improvement, developing shared solutions, meeting environmental expectations, and striving to be among the world’s leading and most reputable precious metals refineries.

The primary source of production is anode slimes (slime left after the extraction of copper), which contain these precious metals. Gold and silver are the core precious metals recovered. Anodic Slime received at PRM is processed in the PRM plant to produce gold and silver. The company maintains industry and environmental standards, including responsible supply-chain policies and compliance with environmental regulations.
